Sunday I got up early an de-winterized before others got up. I thought I was getting up at my normal time, but June informed me it was really only 04:30AM because of the time change..hey normal enough to me.
The de-winterize was uneventful, the day was off to a good start. It was about 65F and raining lightly, but we could already tell we were in much warmer temperatures.
We had a nice breakfast at Eric and Myra's with their friends Keith and Amy. They are always great hosts when we stop in.
We hope to see these fine people in the North Country this summer.
After breakfast we set off for Hilton Head to have dinner with our friends the Colbournes.
We had dinner reservations at The Oyster Factory on Hilton Head for 6PM, we arrived an hour early and did some strolling. It was about 80F with a nice breeze, just perfect.
The restaurant is on a ocean tributary and it was low tide.
Rich and Sandy arrived early also, their condo is only a few mins away and we walked about a bit. Rich has arms of a length that make for good selfies....
We had a really nice dinner, everyone had seafood but me...I had a nice steak and enjoyed it!! Since their condo doesn't allow RVs we set off for the closest Cracker Barrel, just off the island. We pulled into the CB about 21:30, and settled in for the night with a few other class B overnight'rs. All was good.
We plan to walk the beach tomorrow before moving on south.
