Our loose plan is to leave Vermont Thursday, 7Mar, after work and head south, stopping along the way, to see a few friends/family getting into Fort Myers, Fl sometime around 14Mar to visit our good friends John and Liz. After that visit we will head north, stopping along the way, and plan to arrive in Bonaire, GA to visit brother Randy and a few other family members that will gather there for a break from the cold north. We will then head back North, stopping along the way, and plan to be home before the end of March, since we will leave for a week in Ireland on April 1st. This will be a separate blog.
I have mapped out where all our friends and relatives are along the east coast as potential places to to "driveway surf" and visit.
The state of Fl has so many possibilities, it requires its own map.
It seems many from the North are now in Florida, which is good for us. We love visiting.
I have tried to create a list of things for June to do in preparation of the trip and shared it with her on Google Keep..she just loves that.
Of course I have from now until Thursday to continue to add to June's list.
So...now that I have done all the hard stuff, June needs to Pack!!
So excited to see family and friends, for some it has been a whole year....
ReplyDeleteI have started the food prep, just need to haul things out to the van but it is so freaking cold! Yup, time to head south. :)
I see June is doing everything, as usual. Drive Safe. See you soon. - Liz
ReplyDeleteSomeone has to make sure there are enough new 'features' in the van that one or two will inevitably need repair, thus keeping Fred from getting bored on the trip!
ReplyDeleteMatt .. I have plenty for him to do when he gets to Fort Myers. -Liz
ReplyDeleteThree weeks in the van with snarky Fred. Good luck, June!! And thanks for stopping by. It was fun!
